    DE Aiden Hutchinson Michigan
    DE Kayvon Thibodeaux Oregon
    DE George Karlaftis Purdue

    DT Jordan Davis Georgia
    CB Derek Stingley LSU
    CB Andrew Booth Jr. Clemson
    CB Ahmad Gardner Cincinnati

This post should go in the 2021 thread but Iím not bumping that thread. Iíve been very happy with Darrisaw so far but I just took a look at how Jaelan Phillips is playing with the Dolphins. His PFF grades donít look great but heís playing well lately. 8 sacks in his last 6 games and up to 10 on the year. Phillips was the main guy I wanted last year. Glad to see heís playing well. Our pass rush could really use a guy like him. Who knows how the draft turns out if take Phillips instead of Darrisaw but hey Iím just glad Darrisaw looks good. Hopefully we can get a legit edge defender next year.

Man Phillips just had a rep where the Dolphins put him inside to rush over the guard and he cooked Cesar Ruiz. Zim is known for putting his edge guys inside over the guard occasionally.

    Sorry for venting lol

I have no issues with Darrisaw because it was our #1 need and the depth at DE was far deeper in last years draft. Darrisaw is absolutely playing like a legit #1 LT for years to come.

So as of right now we are picking #12 and I think the lowest we can go is #10. If we stay in the 10-14 range we'll have a shot at a good CB or DE. DE George Karlaftis would be a great fit opposite Hunter.

Who knows, could be a QB pick.

Sauce Gardner might actually be better. Bama is deep at WR and they rarely threated him. Plus he has a great nick name. Stingley or Gardner and I'll be happy.

QB seems to be an interesting group. What I'm reading so far it sounds like Carson Strong might be QB1 if his knee checks out. Malik Willis is also going to be a very polarizing prospect. Matt Corral, Kenny Pickett, and Sam Howell will also be names to keep an eye on. Doesn't seem to be a very strong class but you never know.

we just spent a high 3rd on Mond...why think about using a 1st on one?
    gotta love 'referential' treatment

Do you think the cardinals feel bad for taking Kyler Murray when they had Josh rosen they had just drafted? If we are getting a new HC theres a very good chance they might want to find "there guy"

true dat....but they'd actually given Rosen a decent look by then..............and there's no Kyler Murray in the draft

I dunno...maybe Mond will never be the answer

This looks like a tough year to be picking a QB but if there is a guy the team feels strongly about then I think they'll make a move for him. Mond is truly a project. He didn't look good in the preseason and should have thrown a pick 6 against GB so clearly he still has a long way to go. Plus, it's not really the worst thing in the world to have two young QBs drafted fairly high on the roster.

Assuming we go with a new HC, then that means no young guy is safe, especially an unproven guy like Mond who was a developmental guy anyways. They knew as a worst case scenario he sits 2 years behind Kirk. New HC generally want to take a QB early if warranted because that's the most important position. So they will likely live or die on that selection.

I'm really afraid that we are going to go the route of Leslie Frazier and draft a Christian Ponder type talent way too early.

Carson Strong has the knee thing which I read could be degenerative, which we all know from experience on that with Bradford. If we end up trading Kirk then I assume we end up with another 1st. With 2 first round picks I would be absolutely on board taking a QB.
