    Panthers fire OC Joe Brady

Im glad he is gone, but I dont think it changes much at this point in the season.

He will be replaced by current RBs coach Jeff Nixon.

I'm not convinced Brady was even the problem, but who knows, maybe Rhule's former OC will mesh better. I was incredibly high on Rhule after his first season, but I'm starting to sour on him. He needs to knock it out the park in year 3.

He may not even make it to year 3. It feels like the entire staff is in over their heads. If we lose out I doubt he remains next year.

Brady had no idea what he was doing as an OC.

I dunno, we just IR'd a lot of players, it almost feels like we're calling it quits on 2021 and prepping for 2022.

Obvious case of throwing someone under the bus.

It might be the case, but he was trash anyway.

You dont take a guy with this resume

    Linebackers Coach - William & Mary (2013-2014)

Graduate Assistant - Penn State (2015-2016)

Offensive Assistant - New Orleans Saints (2017-2018)

Passing Game Coordinator / Wide Receivers Coach - LSU (2019)

and make him an OC on a staff full of inexperienced coaches.

He was working with Sam Darnold and Zombie Cam.

So that is an excuse for routinely having WRs run routes so close together that 1 db can cover two WRs?

How about bringing CMC back from injury on a snap count, but using those snaps to run him up the gut?

Brady is not ready to be an OC in this league yet. He needs to take the OL coach (his buddy) with him.

Carolina obviously needs to do something; they need to change a lot of things

That's a pretty fine resume tbh. 2 years with the Saints plus his year with LSU is solid.

He had some down moments for sure, but also a lot of good that wasn't seen due to bad QB/OL play. He's the kind of OC who would be ****ing insane with a stacked offense.

Somewhat surprised honestly. Joe Brady was my guy for the Eagles coaching job.

Belichick develops his own coaches. I highly doubt he’d ever go outside of that for a replacement. If Josh McD takes an HC job then I bet they have someone internally lined up or they go bring someone back that’s been there before.
