Great hire for USC. Dude knows how to recruit and is excellent with QBs.

One of Oklahoma's big commits, WR-Brandon Inniss, already de-committed.

Not good for a Ducks and Vikings fan.....means two things- one, Riley won't be heading to the NFL anytime soon and two, USC is quite likely to become the USC of old instead of the teaser it's been this past decade....

Riley being able to recruit to USC will likely be a stronger pull than him recruiting to Oklahoma...and with Chip Kelly finally getting a roster full of HIS recruits, Los Angeles will be that much tougher a place for Cristobal to recruit.....tho he's still done well (i.e. Thibadeaux) but Riley likely also still has a strong hold in Texas and Oklahoma.....

5 star QB decommited, too....dunno whether these decommits end up at USC but the QB is FROM LA, so....
    gotta love 'referential' treatment

Never say never in the world of CFB but I'd be stunned if Kingsbury left Arizona to go to Oklahoma. He is coaching one of the best teams in the NFL, a bright young star at QB, and all the weapons in the world for his offense. On top of that Oklahoma is losing players left and right to the transfer portal/de-commitment, right now it seems Oklahoma is bleeding a bit. Plus the looming switch to the SEC could be difficult for a new coach to recruit, even with the university being a prestigious one.

Riley's contract would have been incredibly difficult to match from what I read. 110 million over 10 years, 24/7 access to USC's private jet for him and his family, and the University bought him a 6 million dollar home in LA, among other perks.
