If he said it a fourth time, would that have possibly made it true?

It’s actually insane to blame people for not passing a law when you’re the one blocking the law from being passed.
It’s like slashing someone’s tires and then blaming them for being late to work. YOU were the reason they couldn’t get to work on time…
A. We just went over this, no they did not have the votes to pass it.
B. The reason they didn't have the votes to pass the law is that you and your ilk refused to vote for it.
C. Yes, I am blaming the people that would not vote for it for not voting for it. What a novel concept...
D. Do you support gun control legislation?
So they didn’t have the votes for it. You know what would have made it way easier instead of trying to convince Manchin to exercise the nuclear option and eliminate the filibuster? If you guys had voted for the bill.
Again, the people who are most responsible for the bill not passing are those who oppose it. Stop trying to blame others when you’re the one who opposes it.
If it is gridlock within the party that stops a bill from passing, nope. It's on the party. They needed Manchin and Sinema's votes and didn't get them. Sinema is an independent now, haha, and Manchin might turn fulling republican by his next election run. Don't downplay their role in stopping Biden's agenda from being passed. In its original form, it was very appealing to the DNC's base. They backstabbed their own party and it's base.
There is opposition to gun control from elected Dems. representing republican districts.
