quick question, and I think I know the answer to this. If a baseball player hits .330, is that considered good? If an NBA player hits 40% from 3, is that good? If a QB has a completion rate of 68%, is that good?

You rode the wave of 3% of climate scientists not committing to climate change as man made potentially. Are you really going to ride the wave of 75%+ of cities with the worst gun violence residing in republican states?

You really have zero idea how statistics, rates, or any basic measurement of results works, don't you?

Chicago, the city you idiots love to point out on a national platform, is behind 20 cities inside red states.

You haven't won a single argument on this board, in fact, you have shifted into a poster that is made fun of daily, because of your completely unreasonable attempt to debate.

More guns=more gun violence. Less guns=less gun violence.

If you want the ultimate, you've got to be willing to pay the ultimate price. It's not tragic to die doing what you love.

Stop advertising that school gun violence has increased since prayer was removed in public schools while you are at it.
No, gun violence has increased as we buy more guns, and specific to mass shootings, since we lifted the assault rifle ban in 2005.

One answer that's borne out in data as well as anecdotally is a surge in the prevalence of firearms in West and South Side conflicts.

"The number of people who have access to guns now, it's crazy. It's mind-blowing," says Damien Morris, chief program officer for violence prevention at Breakthrough in East Garfield Park.

"You could have a group of 20 people, and you may have two who actually have a gun. Now, the same group of 20 people, 17 of them could have a gun."

That means it's easier now for street conflicts to turn fatal—especially, Morris notes, with the increasing prevalence of after-market "switches" that turn conventional handguns into automatic weapons.

The numbers affirm Morris' and Bryant's observations. In 2021, guns accounted for 93.1% of Chicago homicides, CPD data show.

Even your article attributes the rise in homicides to more guns. It's a good article, even if it says the complete opposite of what you are.

If anyone wants to know why there are so many more guns in Chicago despite being a supposedly "strict gun law" city, it's because they are no longer a strict gun law city. Their gun laws were ruled unconstitutional and rescinded:
