Trade for one of the above: Sexton, Rubio, Campozzo, Jalen Brunson, Schroder...get a PG before Rose needs time off

or Dejounte Murray AND Lonnie Walker...

you know Sexton may be done for the season right? That means Rubio is staying as well, and they have a playoff record right now and their draft pick is off the charts,

Dallas will want a boat load for Brunson, and he is not a good trade candidate at the moment based on his salary, not getting much back.

Although could you imagine Obi with Doncic?

Dejounte Murray would be my number 1 target. Avg 8 dimes and a great defender plus he can score. But not sure spurs would move him

If Brunson won’t sign with them, how much could they get?

I think we have a legit shot at Brunson, but not until the off-season. We'd have to open up cap space, or facilitate a sign and trade with the Mavs, but I think it's a legit possibility. Too many connections to ignore there.

Im not as high as Brunson as most here. solid player, but not much upside, not sure he moves the needle much. of course depends on price, but I think Miles can be better.

I dont agree. He’s been Dallas’ second best player, putting up numbers despite not being in control, and not even playing 30 minutes a night

Per 36, his numbers are comparable to Rose, except he shoots less

thats not saying much this year though. he's solid, i like him, but he's not going to be a huge difference maker.

A guy that can put up something like 17/6/6 or better at 25 isn’t making a difference?

I’ve seen him make a difference in games for Dallas. Not saying he’s an all star or anything, but he’s very good

    i dont think he'll ever be a 17/6/6 guy.

but yea just depends on price. but looking at their skillsets, size, physical attributes, and college careers, I think Miles can be right there if not better.

Why not? He’s right at 15/5/5 in 28 minutes, on 11 shots. playing minutes alongside the most ball-dominant player in the league. Still young too

    I think that’s very attainable

i think anyone who thinks Brunson don't move the dial hasn't watched many Dallas games and needs to admit it, the kid is a stud and growing each game i watch, he's so skilled and his IQ is off the charts.

Only someone looking at stats would make any comment differently, he runs the team when Doncic sits, then he takes a back seat the rest of the time.

How about you give him the keys and then see what happens?

We've seen Miles in SL and Preseason and he can't even get garbage time, and Rican you dare to say Miles is better?

brunson is going to get between 15-20m and he would be well worth it as a starting PG.

and guys are right the connections are there, his attitude and the way he carries himself is perfect for NY.

Could you imagine the one-two punch with Rose off the bench?

Problem is he is a UFA and we are capped out, and need Dallas to play ball, it will not only cost a contract but a nice player as well.
