Every worse series the dodgers won, and other teams won the dodgers had to play by the same rules.

Enjoy going back to the basement next year. Don't expect to see you here regularly since the Giants will not make the playoffs next year or be good. This was a fluke year and it will take them another 3-5 years to get back to relevance. You guys literally had everything go your way and still failed to win a series. Next year Padres should be better and Dodgers have at least another 3-5 years where they will be contenders. Giants on the other hand will be closer to being under .500 next year than WS contenders.

Maybe if the wind blew differently you'd be able to #RepeatLA. Tough luck.

    This post reeks of insecurity.

Of course they could have won it all regardless in '17. That team was stacked and easily superior to this year's squad.

Keep telling yourself that. Seemed to work well when you guys repeated similar nonsense about this season all year long.

Insecurity about what? Will Dodgers be WS contenders next year again? 1000% yes they will. Will they win it next years? Probably not. Can the Giants repeat a miracle season again next year? Odds are they will not. Pretty much everyone had career years for the Giants. Dodgers lost 4-5 guys in the regular season for 2+ months if not longer. You guys lost Crawford and Belt for like 2-3 weeks. We lost May for the whole season, Seager, Kershaw for 2+ months, Bauer got suspended, Betts was out for multiple weeks. You guys are acting like you ran away with the division. Dodgers are better suited to win the division than the Giants are even with all the free agents on the Dodgers side. Can lightning strike twice in back to back years for the Giants? I wouldn't bet on it.

Maybe if the check swing went the other way you still would have lost. #ResilientSF

IDK if the 2017 team was better than this one. This team is REALLY ****ing good. Without injuries, I would say this is the better team of the two.

No, with better managing they win this series in 5.

We don't need an all-time great manager, we just need mild competence. My guess, they win the division next year, Dave ****s up again, and hopefully, they let him go and get someone competent.

Who ATL? No, he's mostly making a point about rebuilds. And he's right in this regard. Look at the money they spent on their best Latin Players.
