He did do decent in LAD albeit a small sample size. Maybe with the DH coming that the Cardinals give him another shot.

The last time the Dodgers won a non Mickey Mouse Championship was 1988. Literally 33 years ago. They've had so much talent, all the money, yet they've continually choked.

I'm sure they'll be back next year with even more payroll and talent, but their fans better hope that MLB institutes a 60 game season. Otherwise, we can safely pencil them in for a 34 year drought.

Using this logic the Dodgers just de-legitimized their 2020 WS*. If Dodgers won the WS it would have legitimized the 2020 WS* because if they could win without needing a 60 game season they could argue they still would have won last year.

Even with all the injuries, they should have won this series, this is 100% on Dave Roberts and no one else. The good news is, he's a great yes man, so they're for sure going to give him a Gruden contract.

every team played 60 games. Every team played by the same rules. How is that de-legitimizing the WS for the Dodgers? If the Dodgers played 60 games and everyone else played 162 games then yeah, you can call that a mickey mouse WS title.

did every team play 60 games with the same payroll? Doders got the benefit of a 60 game season with a stacked payroll and stacked roster so while others were getting injured or dealing with the fall out from covid dodgers had a technical leg up with many advantages other teams didnt have.

For years, the dodgers had such ****** bullpens, but this year it was the overreliance on starters in situations they shouldn't have been in that doomed the team.

They're pay roll wasn't much higher than other large spenders that year, and we routinely see teams spend a **** ton of money and miss the playoffs.
Recently the Nats, Giants and Phillies have all missed the playoffs in past seasons despite being some of the biggest spenders.

The money thing is a cop-out and you know it.
