Dodgers may be good at grooming and paying talent but must suck at leadership acquisitions.
Personally, I never had problems with Mattingly, his biggest problem is he never had a quality pen.

I'm not blaming bad luck, I'm giving full credit to the Braves, they're ahead and deserve to be. That doesn't mean Urias pitched well, or Roberts managed well.
Acknowledging those things doesn't take away anything from the Braves.

You're getting Chris Taylor and you're going to like it! Maybe Kike instead.

Quite quick, ay? I guess we'll add "quiet" to the list of your commonly misused words, just below "does" (aka "dose").

I still feel bad about this, but significantly less bad than the Turner news. If they had gotten to the World Series and met the Astros, I was really looking forward to them knocking him around. I do not like that dude.

I like Kelly. Even back to his days with the Cards. He's a good character in the game.

He broke Hanley Ramirez's ribs in the 2013 NLCS.

True this, and he was on that cheating RedSox team too.

Scherzer out. Wonder if they push Walker up.

Not to discount the Dodgers' team in any way, but they have certainly had their share of injuries to overcome this year. Kershaw going down shortened their starting rotation. Losing Muncy shortened their bench, as they had to use a utility guy every day. Losing Turner shortened their bench further and losing Joe Kelly shortened their bullpen. Now, it appears that Scherzer can't go again in the NLCS. They still have a chance to win the championship and go to the series, but it is a bit tougher.
On the other hand, the Braves have an entirely different outfield than they expected to have in the playoffs, so they have had their share of injuries and difficulties, as well.
No excuses will be offered by either team and both teams have done well. The Braves could close it out tomorrow in Atlanta, but nothing is certain.

The dodgers are replacing Joe Kelly on the roster with David Price, who will probably go tomorrow in scherzers place...God damn it.

With all the injuries they've had, the dodgers would have trouble beating the Astros.
