Really? You didn't expect the Astros to take a 3-2 series lead?

I liked the Astros chances to win, but I did not expect Valdez to pitch a gem like that. One of the best Astros postseason pitching performances of all time. Dude was unreal tonight in a huge spot. If they get past Boston, I hope we see more of that version of Framber in the World Series.

I was leaning towards Red Sox winning today and Houston winning game 6. Toss up game 7. Figured Sale was due for a masterpiece.

With Garcia starting today, I have no feel for this game whatsoever. He was truly awful in Game 2, and they were down 8-0 before end of the 2nd. I have to think the game will at least go better than that, but I also think he's going to be on an absurdly short leash. If he starts walking guys, expect to see some mound visits. If he gives up an early run or two, Baker can and should pull him. Most of the bullpen should be fresh, and they've got long relief guys they can use, like Javier.

Eovaldi's start should be super interesting to watch, too, though. You'd think Cora letting him pitch the 9th in Game 4 has to affect him today, even if he only threw 20ish pitches. And he wasn't exactly lights out against the Astros in Game 2óhe just benefited from having a massive early lead.

Has Garcia always had this wind up? He's making them look foolish so far tonight

Highest OPS in postseason history? It's been nowhere to be found during the last three games for these Red Sox. Three runs in the last three games.

    **** the Houston A**holes.
