He does make a few questionable decisions every 5 games or so. But he also led them through the 13 game winning streak.

And that WC lineup 5-9 was horrendous last Tuesday night in Boston. That was the computer nerds.
I donít care what they do this off season since nothing will change anyway . The only reason I expect next season to be better than this season is because they have a bunch of guys playing for contracts

He's so smart. he suggested trades that should have happened

I suggest the Yankees trade Voit for K Marte. That's a trade that should happen based on my opinion.
That's a great trade. I would even throw in, Andujar and Garcia. That's a trade I think should happen.
It's a baseless claim but I still think it should happen.

Gotta tip you cap to BostonÖ.A crappy 2020 And they are about to knock out Tampa Bay.

If they beat Tampa in this series tonight I feel they are World Series bound.

They are getting too many bounces going their way.

The possible 3 homer night by Stanton was a the tell tale sign. When he missed the game tying homer that broke the camels back.

Anyway, Boston churns out core players when they feel they need to move the other core like Betts, ect. Yankees hold on to theirs too long as they wait for injuries to heal, poor performance, ect and then get left with a bunch of rosin bags in return.

Amazing what a good manager who preaches, hustle and effort, situational hitting, contact hitting, aggressive baserunning and good D will get when he has players who are athletic and hit the ball

And let us not forget an ownership that has the balls to make big changes in the front office every couple of years instead of going with the same guys for over 20 years now

It's worth noting that whoever eliminates the Yankees in the playoffs has made the World Series every year since 2017.

    2017: Astros (World Series champs)
2018: Red Sox (World Series champs)
2019: Astros (lost in World Series)
2020: Rays (lost in World Series)
    2021: Red Sox ...

I don't think he's a bust. I think he just needs the right motivation to pick himself up & play harder.

you preach to others to read your post, why don't you do the same. I've suggested trades for Matt Olsen, K Marte, Luis Castillio, J Ram, Bryan Reynolds and many others.

Again you didn't bring up 1 single trade of prospects, you wanted to trade young players coming off huge yrs. Sanchez finished 2nd in the ROY voting and then was an AS and won the silver slugger the yr you suggested trading him. Andujar was coming off a 2nd place ROY finish, in a yr which he was arguably our best all around hitter as a rookie. You might have felt that was the right time to move those guys, but the Yanks disagreed or they would have made them.

It was that same year that the Yankees had use a defensive replacement for andujar in the playoffs that year because his glove was so bad . That is why cashman got gio at the deadline. And I suggested those trades as example of right trades that should have been made period

So what do you want the Yankees to do this year? And just be specific. I want to sign Seager, trade for Olson (Voit, Torres, Sweeney, German and taking a contract back Piscotty). Then sign another starter. I like the idea of Ray, makes us better and weakens the Jays. Day has suggested using a trade simulator https://www.baseballtradevalues.com/trade-simulator/

I already said the prospect hugging needs to stop and some of them need to be traded . I agree with all of your suggestions but I would also trade Gary in a package for whatever I can get . Itís better to get something regardless of how minor it is than to let him walk away for nothing in a year . Then again might as well offer him an extension right now since ď there are no better options ď than a .200 hitting defensively challenged catcher out there .
