    Covid news, notes and protocols for NYC athletes

    The #Yankees just released a list of everyone on the 40 man who is not vaccinated:

    Aaron Judge
    Gerrit Cole
    Giancarlo Stanton
    Joey Gallo
    Jameson Taillon
    Luke Voit
    Clay Holmes
    Kyle Higashioka


    This could be a huge problem once they get to NY.

    Relevant because unvaccinated Yankees & Mets cannot play home games under NYC's private sector employee mandate, even in an outdoor facility. The mandate was instituted on Dec. 27, 2021.

    Oooofffff. This one could get very ugly. Even if nyc figures out a workaround (outdoor venue?) Toronto will be tricky

    No work around for outdoor venue. NYC's private sector employee mandate, even in an outdoor facility.

    We gonna save a fortune on Salary !!!!! But have no team. Crazy situ. Doesn’t help Judge extend if he can’t play. Stay the heck away from Hosmer. Freeman makes sense if Hal opens the Wallet.

    Ridiculous with the vaccinated mandate as the Yankees have 2/3 players that are unvaccinated and Judge is probably one of them. Get over it NEW YORK!

    WH is more concerned with the War anyway, Covid is a non topic now.

    The science very clearly says non-vaccinated players are only safe if they are from out of state; so Judge just needs to get traded to a Florida team.
