Will Bones play immediately? With Malone he may not, but he is the smoothest offensive rookie since Melo in Denver.

Well I only paid attention to him really as a Nugget and I feel comfortable saying that. He has the best handles on the team. Not my words, the majority of the team says it. But he might already be the best finisher in Denver already. He creates shots for his teammates only second to Jokic. He has showed he can hit from deep, and I imagine it will only get better from there. He can play half court and in tempo. His IQ for the game is absolutely miles ahead of MPJ on the offensive end.

if this is a foul the whole year, half the league would be in trouble

I thought they said during the summer that that specific move would be a high focus this season and there would be more no calls or offensive fouls called?

yeah its going to be a point of emphasis this year, but lets see if they call that stuff on a guy like CP3 who does stuff like that at least 10 times a game and if they are doing it six months for now or if its magically stop being called.

They will learn. It happens every time there is a rule/enforcement update.

It can be called an offensive foul, a defensive foul, or no-call. It's up to the ref and the situation. I think it's a good move to get the cheap calls out of the game. It will take some time to adjust for players who have been doing that stuff for a decade to stop.

seeing more offensive fouls called, particularly on guards, would be nice.

The incidental offensive created contact should be non-calls just like the same kind of contact the other way should be non-calls. Offensive players creating contact and shooting I'd be fine with a non-call, but if the shot goes in wipe it out and call the offensive foul. The missed shot is punishment enough most of the time.

No, putting guys in to foul trouble for trying to create ticky tack fouls should be the punishment. Are they supposed to wait for the ball to go in to blow the whistle?

If itís a foul, itís a foul. Call it correctly.
