Right. Because when playing third he stands differently, he runs differently, he throws differently.

If they moved him to CF? Sure. I could see the long sprints being different enough from the short quick steps being a catalyst for a strain. But not 2nd to 3rd.

Yeah. He looks scared to really throw his FB. His slider doesn't have the bite.

Is it the sticky stuff he is missing?

Stanton and Judge have carried this team since Aug 1.

They are getting huge hits, HRs in big spots….George would have been thrilled with their play…

I want this home game with the WC…

And I want to go to Toronto with some momentum. We need to win today to do that. Sweeps are hard but maybe they are on a hot streak for the next month.

My fear about a sweep is it's really hard to beat a good team 3 times in a row, even harder to do it 4 times.
It's more a superstitious thought but as long as they get a WC spot. It doesn't matter.

Sorry clown, sweeping the Sox does matter. They are a divisional rival and Yankees closet competitor for the WC spot, a sweep demoralizes them a tad, has a tendency to alter focus particularly this time of year.

I agree getting the WC spot is the goal, but a bonus when you can beat Boston in the process.

Seriously? What is there to be happy about? Yankees have a chance to be in the POSTSEASON. If that doesn't excite you, nothing ever will. No one is saying to celebrate yet, but at least show some measure of excitement. The daily doom and gloom is sickening.

Still rain in forecast for later tonight but game should be done

That was pretty much my point. And now you can forget the possible shower today. No chance. It is going to rain in Seattle though.

Actually that's the season. Season is over

Such a shame for the season to end like that.

Couple of things here. First off, Sale isn't pitching. And even if he were, Sale is 6 - 8 against the Yankees. Regardless of what happened in last nights game, Yankees are still ahead of the Jays. I just have to say, we have some terrible so called Yankee fans here.

First run he's allowed in his last 7 appearances. What is it you want? Should he retire every batter he faces? It doesn't work that way. I'm certain you'd whine about that as well.
