Maybe we'll get lucky and whoever bounces us in the WC game beats the Dodgers so we don't have to deal with that nonsense again. I have no faith this team will beat SD or STL in that WC game. Bummer of a year.

It's hard to believe that the Padres were 17 games above .500 as recently as August 11th. Now they're in danger of having a sub-.500 season.

I think you would be more certain if the Giants were in another division. The fact that it’s still a two team race gives you doubt which doesn’t come from logic. After an entire season the club is still competing. Their chance of winning this division is just as good as anyone’s and they are playing just as well.

Dude, come on, why is it always doom and gloom? It was never going to be easy. Struggles will happen at times. We've been at the top of the division and league standings for the vast majority of the season. Sure, anything can happen in one game, but if one thing is for certain, this team is VERY GOOD.

Just bought tickets for some Postseason games today; potential Wild Card Game, NLDS Home Game #1 and #3. Pumped. Can't wait to feel that playoff atmosphere again.

We have to go with what we have but depending on Rogers is not a good thing. If you need to get back into a game, he’s the guy you want to see.

Submarine pitchers generally don't do very well against opposite-handed batters.

I was watching the game on ESPN. That was a nail-biter in the ninth inning. Tatis just got under it.

Should have gone to 3rd. Force out and DP would have stayed in order. Kim at first didn’t matter.

Do you mean La Stella should've thrown to third?
