NY Post | Dan Martin: Luis Severino made his return to the Bronx after being sidelined for over 700 days. The return of arms doesnít stop there, though ó Domingo German was activated off the injured list prior to the series finale against the Rangers. German last pitched for the Yankees on July 31st before he hit the IL with right shoulder inflammation. Estevan Florial was optioned to Triple-A Scranton/Wilkes-Barre to make room for the righty. | Randy Miller: Speaking of pitchers returning, Jameson Taillon made a rehab start against the Syracuse Mets on Wednesday. He went three innings, threw 51 pitches, and allowed two runs. Taillon has been on the injured list since September 9th with a partial tear of his right ankle tendon. He could rejoin the rotation as soon as next week.

Sports Illustrated | Pat Ragazzo: Even more help could be on the way for the Yanks. Jonathan LoŠisiga played catch on Tuesday at 120 feet and is making significant progress towards returning to the team for final stretch of the regular season. His next step is to toss a bullpen session on Friday. The good news is that Aaron Boone doesnít believe LoŠisiga will require too many bullpens, because he hasnít been out for too long.
