Mario Edwards Jr and Goldman should make a noticable impact on this defense. Goldman can clog up the run while Edwards should help the pass rush. Has Edwards been able to practice while on suspension?

So did peters have a great game or not? I just read an opinion piece saying the fields fumble wasn't on him, and he put on a dominant performance.

Apparently Peters and Ifedi had the highest pass grades among all OT? But the interior was absolutely awful.

I can see that. OG was in the back field making plays for the Bengals all game. Montgomery had little to work with and Mustipher looked absolutely brutal.

I completely forgot about Mario Edwards. For some reason I thought we cut him after his assault arrest against a female. Why is he back exactly?

He was suspended for preforming enhancing drugs . Marioís case happened in early December in the season and was reviewed by the team and league . If they really found something I doubt he would have been back . Just like the Ray McDonald situation

Really encouraging. He definitely stood out against the Bengals.

I know some people want to over react to the Dalton is our starter news. But it gives me zero concern. I have heard there is an Unwritten rule that you cant loose your starting job due to injury. On top of that we have the Promise you gave Dalton. But to me if Fields comes out and proves himself it basically becomes performance based.

If he doesn't perform Nagy does not have to go through the same nonsense he did last year where he benched Mitch (deservedly probably but also seemed like a short leash) and then he was basically handcuffed to foles even though it was clear Foles didnt improve anything. Lucky for him Foles got hurt which kinda gave him the ability to go back to Mitch. If he looks overwhelmed (which i doubt) he can simply say he was never played to be starter and go back to Dalton. If he does look good though it will be very similar to Tyrod/Herbert and it will basically go away.

I Truely expect him to get the next 2 games though. Dalton "Won't be ready" and we will see how he looks. If he doesn't look good he will likely go back to dalton until the bye.

Off the top of my head Brady and Kaepernick both took over after injuries and were kept as starters. I'm sure there's more
