it is very important for the yanks today that either boston or toronto lose today. going into boston 2 down means you have to sweep them to be ahead of them.. winning 3 games would be impossible to do.. even 2 would be tough..and if the yanks play badly in boston the season is over.. as toronto wont play bad vs minnesota

And how do you know how Toronto will play against the Twins? Just curious.

on sept 17 the twins won a game in toronto over the jays if they could win a game in a difficult park to play it makes sense they could win at least 1 game at home vs the jays..

Going to be tough for Boston to lose today since they don't play. But jays are down 6-2 to Twins in bottom of 5th!

with 3 more outs the twins will beat the jays twice in their last 4 games.. their goes your comments saying the twins would be easy opponents for the bluejays has not turned out that way eh..

It's great that the Jays lost but Your point? No one ever suggested the Jays were locks to beat the twins.
I actually have been commenting for over a week that the twins are a tough match for the Jays because the twins can hit.

My post about goal posts was regarding a post above that one. The argument changed from one thing to another.

What are you talking about? Making up more lies? Care to show a post from me saying the Twins would be an easy opponent? I'll wait.......

How great is it that the whole season comes down to 3 interdivisional series? This IS the playoffs for the Yanks.

Hopefully we revel in the fact that we hold our own fate against other playoff-worthy opponents. Would be harder to watch the Yanks lose to the O's again when it counts...

    TMML.

I totally agree. It's a fantastic end to the season. Their fate is in their own hands against arguably, the best 3 teams in the AL.

Dude, don't start flat out lying now. You were the one saying Toronto, in your words, "won't play bad vs Minnesota". Those are your words. In front of your face.

You have said so many things and switched your tune so many times you don't even know when you are calling yourself out accidentally.

Chances are looking better now for Yanks than just a few days ago. Toronto losing twice to Twins was a pleasant surprise. Yanks now 1 game behind Sox and 2 up on Toronto. However, need to keep an eye on Seattle; with a win tonite (currently leading LAA 3-0) they are tied with Toronto.
