Well with a playoff appearance in what was supposed to be a losing season but turned out to be a 10-7 season, Hurts is probably going to be the starter come 2022 season in September that's probably a given
I don’t believe that howie and Lurie look at Jalen hurts as a franchise QB, I just think that there simply aren’t any great options to upgrade the QB position at the moment. Howie/Lurie want to build a dynasty with a young franchise QB. Easier said than done. It’ll take some time but they’ll get their guy. In the meantime I think they will stick with hurts to see if it’s possible that he can get better or not and if he doesn’t then I think the eagles will be very aggressive in the 2023 nfl draft (that year is considered a much better group of QBs than 2022 whether that ends up being true or not).
I mentioned this in the eagles forum but this offseason I think the eagles:
*Keep Jalen hurts
* trade one of the three 2022 1st round picks for a 2023 1st round pick
*Use the 2022 draft to fill in much needed holes on defense and OL depth
* add offensive weapons and defense depth in free agency
*if Jalen hurts doesn’t improve in 2022 then they will get aggressive in the 2023 draft and package both of their 1st round picks to move up for one of the top QBs in what is considered a much deeper QB draft.

Malik Willis for the Eagles and Matt Corral ends up with Washington Football Team in the Draft I think
What's weird?
Dak has accomplished what? Cool fantasy stats against bad teams? Yay?
End of the day they are basically the same guy, underperformers without any real accomplishments to speak of. Same tier as the guys you constantly harp about.
One just has far more offensive help than the other.
