Should have been out of the inning with 4 but Duffy hesitated badly on that crazy English bloop to Alcantara

He's getting spanked this year and I don't know why. Lots of hits, lots of HR. His velocity isn't down. Earlier in the year it looked like a lot of his sinkers were coming over the heart of the plate (for HR) instead of painting the corners. His K rate is a bit down.

Maybe it's location, maybe it's bad luck, maybe he used the sticky stuff for grip, who knows. Hopefully it's not an issue next year.

Looks like Ross has brought in perfect pitcher to continue our tankathon run with Manny. If he can't walk them or give up hits, he'll get 'em on with an error himself.

Yessirre, gotta love these inflated -ERA relievers, Megill last night, Manny tonite. Luckily, we're only playing for draft position.

That was not an easy play to make with Herrera busting it to 1st

But Rodriguez is a tough watch. Just all over the place and MLB hitters are too good for him at this point.

I watched Hendrick's 4th inning. His command sucked, they spanked his fastball twice pretty hard, he got unlucky on some hits, the Cubs defense was terrible, and the guy who relieved him let in a couple of his runners.

Hoyer will regret not moving Hendricks at the deadline. The Darvish deal is looking better everyday. With the weakness in the market could have gotten a top 100 and a couple more pieces.

This was an amazing game. Don't think I've ever seen a game where a team leading 7-0 ended up losing by 9 runs, simply amazing.

1 better than 6/30 when we scored 7 in the 1st vs MIL and lost 15-7

KB could sign a 12 year contract and become part owner and thawv will still think he hates the Cubs

Ok so we need to acquire only about 13 good pitchers this offseason.

And our offense rests on some 30 year old career AAA guys we found in the dumpster bin.

I think they should look to trade him this offseason
