It's time to be done. Eat the salary at the end of the year.

Hes fried at this point. 2018-2020 he provided some value. But we are done here.

Yup. Eat the salary and let him go.

If you’re able to trade him by eating most, if not all of his contract and get a decent player in return, then keep doing it as you’ve done the last few days

I was hoping for a bad contract swap. Maybe Patrick Corbin with the Nats throwing in 20 mill. Def won't happen but let a boy dream

Don’t kid yourselves. He’s starting in RF on Opening Day next year.

I'd rather just eat it. Just make the bad money go away. Corbin is bad. He's not getting fixed. Just let Heyward go away, don't take bad money back. 2022 is in the cards. Don't waste a roster spot.

I don't see a plus in dumping him this offseason. We'll be eating his whole salary and he'll bring nothing back, it would be selling at his all-time low. Zero risk in keeping him on the bench or platooning him next year. If he hits righties well like usual then good for us, and his trade value increases. If he continues to stink then we can dump him with nothing lost for trying.

He was 98-100 for strikes, and good power curve. He has closer stuff.

Manny Rodriguez might be the only thing keeping the Cubs interesting for me for the last 55 or games.
