Ryan Tepera traded to the White Sox

    https://twitter.com/whitesox/status/1420819350588624907

The #WhiteSox have acquired right-handed reliever Ryan Tepera from the Chicago Cubs in exchange for left-handed pitcher Bailey Horn.
    Much needed bullpen help.

We've landed a solid 2B and a solid Reliever for 2 specs that no one really cared about. Not bad. Now lets get an elite Arm for the Pen and call it a Deadline.

Call me crazy, but I'd like another starting pitcher.

The least of our worries. Id go for the Late inning Reliever all day.

    Crochet and Bummer the LHs
    Hendriks/Kopech/(Trade)/Tepera/Heuer/Ruiz

Id trust that pen to get the job done. Would also really preserve our rotation.

I am with you muttman73. We need one more starter. Two guys I have concerns about are Keuchel and Rodon. I'd be good with a six man rotation to help mitigate innings.

I'm having a hard time trusting Rodon. What he has produced this year so far has been fantastic, but he looks like he's starting to come unraveled. Keuchel should only pitch against the crap teams. Lance & Gio are the only ones I have any confidence in moving forward. Send Crochet to Charlotte for the month of August and let him start, get him stretched out.

I would do this too. I don't think Crochet is effective right now as a reliever and think he could be more valuable for us as a starter.
