Good thing for my Lakers though is that our championship hopes for next season won't be directly tied from what we get for Kuzma. We need a healthy AD & LBJ in the play-offs. We just need a more complementary piece then Kuzma for Kuzma.

Here's a few ideas with teams I believe Kuzma can be a good fit with...

    Kuzma & 22 for Beasley & future 2nd
    Kuzma for Ingles
    Kuzma for Joseph & 2nd
    Kuzma for D. Wright & 2nd
    Kuzma & 22 for Covington & future 2nd
Of all of them, if I’m the Lakers, I’d do the Beasley deal. I think for the Wolves that at the very least puts edwards at his natural position as a 2.

Then the wolves roll out a lineup of

    PG Russell
    SG Edwards
    SF Kuzma
    PF Kat
    C Naz Reid

All of a sudden they are big long and athletic and I think they could do some damage, especially with Edwards getting better.

Or instead a package you could accomplish:

    - Schroder, Trez and #22 overall to the Pelicans for Lonzo Ball

Lonzo heads back to LA to the team that drafted him to begin with, the Lakers

Kuzma and KCP get traded to the Sacramento Kings for Buddy Hield

    New look Lakers

PG- Lonzo Ball (returns back to the Lakers via trade)
SG- Buddy Hield (via trade w/Kings)
    SF- LeBron James
    PF- Anthony Davis
    C- Andre Drummond

    New look Pelicans

    PG- Dennis Schroder
    SG- (Draft pick most likely)
    SF- Brandon Ingram
    PF- Zion Williamson
    C- JV

Trez would be on their 2nd unit as like a 6th Man

    New look Kings

    PG- De' Aaron Fox
    SG- Tyrese Haliburton
    SF- Kyle Kuzma
PF- Marvin Bagley III (gets moved over to the 4)
    C- Richaun Holmes

    * KCP off the bench as a 6th Man

I don't think most of the deals out there work for the Warriors, mostly because of the cap impact of the deals being proposed. The Warriors might well find a deal that works for them, but I don't expect any big deals to happen.

Harrell opted into his player option. Looks like Kuzma and him are going to be headed to the Kings for a deal centered around Hield.

    YIKES!!!

Woj mentioned that the Bulls, New York Knicks, Dallas Mavericks, and Pelicans could all be preparing to offer a point guard like Schroder north of $18 million annually this summer. That asking price is way too high for someone like Schroder that has not registered a single box plus/minus above zero in eight seasons in his NBA career to date.

According to Lakers fans all Lakers players are underrated.
