Everybody keeps waiting for Boston to hit that wall...I thought by game 50 they would have started to fade....

This series basically is their season and almost humorously so.

If they win 3-4, they are all in
If they go 2-2, we don't know
If they lose 3-4, they are done

I will guess they split because that would be the norm for this season, just good enough to keep us wondering.

i hope for a split but am i very dubious this team can pull it off unless they get great starting pitching the current lineup is not good enough to score a lot of runs..

TIL we have a minor league pitcher named Janson Junk. Please God let him make the bigs with the Yankees. Until a pitcher comes along with the last name "Strikeout, " Janson will have the best last name possible for a pitcher.

Check out his numbers. He's looking very good.

The name is spectacular for a pitcher

How many runs do they need to win each night? I want to call my bookie.
Break it down by game please

How many will they need to score vs their ability to score?
Example. Game 1- they will need 5 but they can only score 4... wait, they just score 6
Ok, I've got it, they need 8 but can only score 6, wait, they scored 9 against the Sox in the last game.
I am very confused. Please break this down for me so I understand how many they need to score each game to win and why they can't score that many. Sorry to be a pain but I am confused by your post

Wade experiment needs to be over. Just an awful hitter. Kinda hard to believe he swung at that pitch.

Interesting rumor from Feinstein, who usually has some idea what he's talking about. We've supposedly been very active on the Trevor Story market but they want him as a CFer

[INow hearing this, it’s almost a guarantee that the Yankees are the team interested in using Trevor Story in center field

Can someone please explain the love for this guy?

And then if you can explain that, can you explain why a team would take a 28 year old SS and switch him to CF?

Because Day, if they sign him? The OF will be Judge-Story- Stanton.
If they do that, this team is idiotic.

I want zero to do with Story

Trevor Story is just slightly more appealing than Gallo. I really want nothing to do with either player.

Stanton smoked that. He's going to go on a run soon.

I wonder if Torres could be a 20-20 guy? If they gave him a green light, I think he could steal 20
