    I found Him!!! Huzzah

The caged creature that tormented Butch in Pulp Fiction was........(wait for it).......... Ready?

    THE GIMP

The Gimp (Stephen Hibbert),[11] dressed and masked all in black leather, sleeps in a locked, coffin-like box in the basement of the pawnshop. It is unknown whether he stays there voluntarily or not, but there are hints he is not free to leave. The Gimp taunts Butch while he is bound to a chair. When Butch frees himself the Gimp screams for help and is punched in the face (and KOed) by Butch. He is apparently strangled to death by the collar and chain Maynard had used earlier to tie him to the overhead water pipes

For the record, I will not hang the tag, "Gimp" on SPLIFFY. I will not disrespect people with debilitating injuries.

As expected, the Supreme Court has struck down a Maine law that allowed rural residents who lived far from a public school attend a private school using taxpayer dollars, so long as that school was “nonsectarian.” Families who wanted to send their children to Christian schools challenged the program, arguing that excluding religious schools violated their right to exercise their faith.

The vote of course was 6-3.

Since John Roberts became chief justice in 2005, the court has ruled in favor of religious organizations 83 percent of the time (far more than any court in the past seven decades). Other recent cases suggest that the Roberts court is growing even more defensive of religious freedom — especially in benefiting Christian groups. Last year, for example, it allowed a Catholic social services agency in Philadelphia to refuse to work with same-sex couples, and aftyer Barrett came on, it sided with those who sought to lift virus restrictions on religious services.

EDIT: A similar result is expected soon on a case involving a former high school football coach near Seattle who lost his job after praying on the 50-yard line at the end of his team’s games (he has argued that doing so was a matter of religious freedom, while the school district contends that he was effectively pressuring team members into participating).

Sounds like there should be no issue with public funding of mosques. Right? Texas and other right wing states are bound to do that too.

This (Carson v. Makin) is actually a significant — and disturbing — ruling.

As Sotomayor writes in dissent: “Today, the court leads us to a place where separation of church and state becomes a constitutional violation.”

I'm curious how a religious school that takes government funding can legally reject anyone from attending. I have no doubt this Court will eagerly say they can, I just don't know what the logic is beyond "Christian = good."

    Love this Supreme Court.

Giving a massive blow job to the 2nd amendment while eviscerating the 1st amendment.

More Concealed Guns, No Miranda, State-sponsored Religion…

Assuming the abortion decision remains — no reason why it should not — America is heading toward, rough and uncharted waters.

Crovash: can you imagine anything you posted that might have contributed to the incredibly low faith the people have in the SCOTUS?

There needs to be a second American Revolution. A RECKONING as Wyatt Earp would say. What happened in the 18th century as far as revolt against TYRANNY in France and England needs the same revolt against the ideology of the failed Socialist regimes that developed in Europe, parts of South America, Mexico, and Canada which has spawned in the politics in the US with the advent of socialist doctrine introduced in our school systems and supported by Big Tech oligarchs.

The revolution is bankrolled by China and the New World Order folks. They brag about it pretty opening and the US press covers it up for the US masses who go fat dumb and happy trying to get scraps from the Democrat Party table.

Agreed. We need a new revolution.

We need to oust garbage politicians like McConnell, Pelosi, Abbott, etc. Destroy the Supreme Court, diminish the police, give everybody housing and health care, and demolish the billionaire oligarchs.

    Let’s do it.

And there's the abortion decision. This country is such a joke. Replace 3 supreme court justices with super conservative thinkers who still believe this is still the 1940s. Just pathetic. Clarence Thomas can eat a bag of dicks as well.
