His desire to leave is most definitely sincere.
Dems went after Trump for withdrawing including Biden from what I recall

I don’t recall that. I’m sure some did. But I don’t have specific memory of that. I remember when we rightfully got upset when he did an air strike near Iran.

Excellent article on the parasitic nature of for-profit private contractors in Afghanistan.
It’s stuff like this that leads me to believe that going into Afghanistan to get Bin Laden was a convenient pretext for the true objective: making money for well-connected private firms under the guise of building a nation.

At least in Iraq, it was a tiny bit more transparent.

Then it's not a meaningless comparison is it?

So let me get this straight, people were mad at Biden for doing nothing to stop these attacks and now they’re mad at him for stopping them because it causes collateral damage?

The children killed in the single digits. Are Republicans upset that we're not in the "good old days" where our military was killing children by the thousands?

    Trump's father should have "withdrawn".

Most Dems were fine with Trump's decision to leave Afghanistan, at least on here. Please post where Biden went after Trump for withdrawing.

Naplam bombs, mines fields, agent orange, we would drop everybody, things in the area, those were the good old days.

They did have juicy million and billion dollar checks to the military contractor industry and in return for thousands of campaign contributions.

OOOPS, someone's partisanship slip is showing. Like AOC, it is all about dissing Biden. Not anything about a political or military objective, because it is all about Biden and anything Biden does he should be impeached.

I don't care for Biden either, but he is doing good, sloppy, but good on this front and standing by the human infrastructure bill, but I don't go psycho about it.

What does anyone actually get from this forum?

Liberals aren’t gonna be won to a conservative viewpoint or vice versa.

So what is it that keeps bringing each of you back? Is it the “friendships” you’ve formed with those that think like you? Is it the hate you have for those who differ from you? Is it the chance to insult? Or stick it to the other side?

Is there one redeeming quality of posting in this forum? one?
