That tax bill will be brutal

The Warriors are in a similar spot with Oubre. They can pay him the $100M he wants buy who can they trade him to and who for?

Definitely not a Smart type. Smart is a hyper aggressive player that pushes pace and drives constantly. He might be good. Heís nothing like Smart. He disappears a lot. Thatís not Marcus Smart. I donít know why people love to compare any 6í4ish guard that can play defense to Smart. McBride is a little like Smart style wise

Man we'll be able to toss some crazy defense out there with Maxey, Springer, Thybulle, Simmons (ahem), Embiid.

Very surprised Morey kept the pick but I really like Jaden Springer at 28. He is young and will only get better.

    2021 draft thread

Happy with both guys the Knicks picked. Iím not sold McBride can be more then a backup PG/combo guard but he will be good at that imo. I really like the way he plays. Grimes I think has a little more upside at 6í5 and a better shot. Both solid guys. I know nothing about the Euro but Iím good with it

And Jericho Sims. I didnít think there was a chance I would both know and like the 58th pick. Very good late pick.

Rockets took more players in the first round than in the previous eight drafts combined.

Idk if 16 and 23 will come over, some analysts saying 24 was a reach but if all 4 guyd suit up for this upcoming season, I think they won the draft by far.

Unless youíre including a number of future picks to complete a trade for a good piece. Weíll see if thatís true and whether the target is worth it.

I agree he is nothing like Smart on both ends of the floor but a guard who only look to create scoring opportunities for himself and not that good at it but may develop into one with patience. I would have taken Butler if we plan on keeping the pick as he was the MOP for a reason, he gets his teammates involved like a playmaker would.
