    Because the nerds on here are obsessed with "FV!" and would rather have a zillion 19 year olds to dream on rather than guaranteed impact talent at the MLB level.

    Madrigal is a fantastic get. Its a bit disappointing that we haven't added a higher level pitching arm however.

    In what world is trading a guy who only hits singles an overpay? Madrigal is basically Darwin Barney with a better contact skills.

    Madrigal has 45 strikeouts across about 250 games in the majors and minors.
