    Agreed. If that is all the Cubs could get for Kimbrel, it makes me wonder what names were actually being talked about with other teams. This kind of deal could have happened at the actually deadline, not right now.

    I personally love Madrigal. I also think this is a huge indicator that money will be spent this offseason and that they have every intention of competing next year.

    Hoyer IMO is over-correcting the contact issues. I get Madrigal is a magician at not striking out but he also doesn't impact the ball much. His LA is awful and likely won't change much. He's a better Nico, so I guess that's something.

    Heuer has to be converted back to a starter or he's meh
