    Mets @ Nationals

Would like a sweep but will take 2 out of 3. Just keep winning series.

28th, in all of Baseball, at 3.8 runs per game.

If our pitching wasnít so damn good, imagine the hatred that our lineup would be getting.

That's why you can't play non regulars too much. They get overexposed. Yeah, the everyday guys aren't doing great either but this is more like the weak stuff you expect.

Mets might have to start looking at guys like Mullins, Schoop, Haniger, etc. The thing is there aren't a lot of good available offensive pieces. When you start talking the likes of Tyler O'Neil, Ketel Marte, Bryan Reynolds, you're talking about a ridiculous haul in terms of prospects for those guys because they are nowhere near FA.

The regulars have been as pathetic as the bench mob. I donít think we have a hitter over .250

The regulars have a higher ceiling than the likes of Villar, Pillar, Peraza, Guillorme, Mason Williams, etc.

Which makes the regularsí performance more disappointing.

16 consecutive innings without a run, at least they broke their 11 inning streak without a hit.

Well done Lou Casey! I wonder
If theyíll give him another inning, I think heís reached the most pitches heís thrown in a game. Iíd let him start the next one. Gotta see how he fares third time through a lineup.
