Nah. Bad play on that PB for sure but he also had some really good blocks and he's starting to really hit.

agreed, after the last couple games, Sanchez probably deserves a pass

Waldi gave up his first 3runs of the yr in his 1st AA start, still K'd 7

I am so psyched to see how those 3 progress. Medina got tapped a bit but still had 10 ks.
I think Gil will take a few games to fugure it out and I think Waldi will be fine

stanton has 50 less at bats then judge and has the same amount rbi's, that shows me judge has been unproductive in spots where he can drive in a lot of runs..

Or it could be Stanton has had more at bats with runners on base.

Using RBIs to Judge a player without additional context is a crappy way to judge a player.

I don't think he's a bust. I think he just needs the right motivation to pick himself up & play harder.

    Runners in scoring position.

    Judge: .286

    Stanton: .297

    Pretty close.

Good situational hitting tonight for Gittens. Finally adjusting it seems.

Two run PH single in 7th followed by a sac fly in 9th.

I can't believe I'm going to ask this. Anyone else feel like Boone actually did a really good job managing this series?

Very hesitant answer but yeah. Even a blind squirrel catches a nut sometimes. Still need to see a lot more series like this before I buy into Boone.
