    Cubs @ Mets

We should be bunting to get runners over, at the very least, some of the time.

Itís also crazy we arenít bunting more often when the whole infield is on the one side of the field.

Itís embarrassing to me how bad we are at small ball. Whereís the fundys?

Lindor.. But watching him play I don't see him carrying a team. Not at all sold on this guy. And Alonso seems too all or nothing to me.

Lindor is not a carry your team offensively type player. He's very good when he's hitting well but he's not a Tatis, Guerrero Jr, Acuna, etc. Alonso was that in his rookie year but it seems the book has been written on him. He's still a solid bat, just not that guy he was in 2019.

I love watching deGrom hit but it's not worth it.

Hendricks is the very kind of pitcher that gives the Mets fits. Nothing fast they can time and square up.

Honestly, Iím surprised when a pitcher doesnít give us fits. We gotta be bottom 10 in runs per game.

Thank god for the entire pitching staff and defense tho.

Never said he was in the same league as Tatis, Acuna etc because he clearly isn't, but if he has his 2018 and 19 numbers he can, let's say 'help' carry a team that is not great offensively but has enough pitching to keep them in games.

Itís crazy to me that you wouldnít bunt towards third base with that shift on McKinney, against a soft thrower.

    Itís a free base.
