Stroman looked great again. Lugo great. Diaz great. Mets on a roll.

Doubt Rosario makes that play, let alone make it look so easy. Lindor has been a huge upgrade even without his bat.

We won't need a Cespedes. All we need is our pitching to be healthy and we're gonna be tough af to beat in a 7 game series.

Still need more offense, but this pitching and defense has been outstanding.

If Guillorme hits, McNeil can ride the pine. The only injured started who should definitely start everyday is Conforto. The rest need to earn it. And JD Davis can get traded.

When Mets teams have been winners, itís pitching and defense thatís excelled. Weíre back in that familiar pattern where we belong.

Lindor does so many little things that makes everyone else on the field relax and play better. When they say good defense is contagious itís because of guys like Lindor. He makes everyone around him better.

He made that last out of the game look so simple. It was anything but. Rosario wouldíve turned it into an adventure. That prolongs the inning. Next thing you know everyone is all screaming at Diaz for blowing the save and Rojas for bringing in the wrong pitcher.

Funny how good defense just makes everyone look smarter.

Oh, and Luis Rojas, MOY. Just sayin.

Other than injuries, what exactly has Nimmo done wrong to where he doesnít deserve a spot? He consistently has a great OBP, hustles and plays a fine corner outfield.

Nimmo will be this team's left fielder when he returns. Conforto the right fielder until he opts for free agency or is traded.

Dom will likely be on the trade block as will JD.
