    Yankees @ Phillies 6/12 -13

    Game 1
    Sat, Jun 12 • 4:05 PM EDT
    At Citizens Bank Park

    Yankees
    Jameson Taillon
    RHP
    1-4, 5.09 ERA, 58 SO
Taillon is coming off a no-decision against the Red Sox in which he allowed three runs on six hits over 5 1/3 innings. Taillon has pitched to a 3.52 ERA over his past three starts, spanning 15 1/3 innings.

    VS

    Phillies
    Vince Velasquez
    RHP
    2-1, 4.33 ERA, 52 SO
After Velasquez posted a 2.30 ERA in his first six starts this season, he has an 11.57 ERA in his last two, allowing nine runs in just seven innings. The Phillies hope it is nothing more than a temporary blip.

    Game 2
    Sun, Jun 13 • 1:05 PM EDT
    At Citizens Bank Park

    Yankees
    Domingo German
    RHP
    4-3, 3.12 ERA, 55 SO
Germán has allowed three or fewer runs in each of his past nine outings and in 10 of his 11 starts this season. Last time out, he tossed 5 2/3 innings of one-run ball in a no-decision against the Red Sox.

    VS

    Phillies
    Aaron Nola
    RHP
    4-4, 4.06 ERA, 85 SO
Nola's 4.06 ERA after 13 starts is his slowest start since 2019, when he had a 4.63 ERA after 13 starts. For one reason or another, he has been struggling lately. He has a 4.97 ERA in nine starts since throwing a shutout in April

2 disappointing teams. Something has to give.

    I call a split.

    Yankees have score 245 runs
    Yankees have allowed 244

    A +1

Nice. I hear excuses on this forum about why the Yankees offense is down. Then explain why a crummy Rays lineup on paper compared to the Yankees has produced so much more?

Those who say the Rays have a crappy lineup don't follow baseball or just don't know who has been good the last 2 years.

The Rays' lineup is anything but crappy, but not only that most of them excel at everything we don't: defense, baserunning and hitting with RISP.

this inning is the epitome of what has been wrong with the yanks all season they are trailing by 3 runs they have 1st and second no outs dj judge and gleyber up and all they all made out no runs scored..that may be the best and last chance they got in this game
