All throws that require WR's to win on routes. Of course he struggled on those throws.

Or is it that he chooses not to make the easy throw and wants to play hero ball? Maybe a combination of the two?

I think he does not trust the guys around him to make plays and that leads to the disdain from his teammates.

And yet Hurts didn't have issues with those throws...

This is it I think. Example, Pittman had more receptions on drag routes last year than Wentz had throws on drag routes. He just doesn't take the easy throw.

Zero and one step drops tend to be drags, quick slants, and WR screens. Maybe he’s just not accurate on them.

Wentz didn’t help with his delayed reads and truly mind blowing (in a bad way) throws at times. Shorter throws from short drops are supposed to be easier concepts to get a quarterback into rhythm, but it wasn’t the case for Wentz, who was by far the NFL’s least efficient passer on throws with dropbacks of zero or one step. On such throws (157 dropbacks), Wentz completed 90 of 145 passes for 784 yards, 422 air yards, three touchdowns, five interceptions, and a passer rating of 68.9.

Struggling to read defenses. He misses easy throws because he doesn't even recognize that they're there.

Certainly a combination of all things listed.

Didn't hurts basically get worse with every start regarding passing?

He threw for 338 yards, 3 TD, 0 Int in his 2nd start and couldn't replicate that in his 3rd start and the half he played in his 4th start. True.

I'm guessing they had biases when making this list considering what it says for Cam:

There, he completed 49 of 79 passes for 769 yards, 564 air yards, one touchdown, four interceptions, and a passer rating of 77.5. Dwayne Haskins, Alex Smith, Drew Lock, and Ben Roethlisberger had worse passer ratings on five-step throws, but Newton’s unfortunate touchdown/interception ratio puts him over the top (or to the bottom) in this case.
So Cam averaged 10 YPA, 62%, and wasn't even the worst passer rating on 5 step drops, but he gets the label of worst 5 step drop throws because of a 1:4 TD:INT stat? Hell, I wonder if they even watched the INTs to see what occurred since its highly possible some of those aren't on him and/or occurred in bulk during the DEN/SF weeks after he had COVID.
