Scherzer was checked 3 times during tonight's game, the final time being in the middle of an inning. All per Girardi's requests. Then Girardi basically tried to tempt Max to fight him and got tossed himself.

What a ****ing ********. This is going to backfire so hard.

I dunno, I read that the umps told the managers the SP would be checked twice during the game, the third one was at the request of Girardi.
