Who the heck wasted votes on Schroder? He's anti defense.

Also awesome to see even in limited time and not starting that Thybulles absurd defense was recognized as so impactful he made 2nd team. He could be 1st team if he was a starter.

I'm surprised on two fronts, how incredibly good Andrew Wiggins defense was this year, and how few votes he got. The Warriors were the 5th best defense in the NBA with no size and a bunch of marginal players. Green played great but Wiggins was the guy guarding all the best offensive players every game. Wiggins past held him back ... I think also playing late games a lot hurts those votes.

Mitchell surprised me, too. Also, I love my Rockets, but Christian Wood does not belong anywhere near a conversation about good defensive big men. Anyone who voted for him clearly didn't watch the guy play very much this year.

That's really interesting. I remember before he was drafted, he was pegged as a guy with elite defensive potential, but we never really saw him reach anywhere near that level in Minnesota. I can't honestly say I watched many Warriors games, but I'll take your word for it that he's finally starting to put it together on that end of the floor. I'm not sure he'll ever live up to that contract, but overall it seems like he's developed to a point where there's a chance he won't be labeled a total bust at the end of this career.
