What if Ben is pulling a Blake and on his next team he attacks the rim, shoots at all but especially 3s, makes free throws, and has post moves? [emoji23]
I could see it for sure because there's video proof of him shooting in summer league and also video of him hitting 3s in pick-up games.
FWIW why no one should be left off the hook:
I know it’s just a simple stat but in the 4 losses for a combined 17 points Dwight was a -39.
In game 7, the Sixers bench was a minus and played 65 minutes. Without OT.
In those 65 minutes the bench only gave you 15 points.
Morey has a ton of offseason work to do outside of the glaring. He needs to get the bench better. He needs to help Doc get a rotation that can go deep in the regular season but shorten in the post season. He needs to get someone who can give offense in spurts when Embiid is out.

Not shocked called this at the deadline after they laughably passed on Lowry to protect Thybulle who was Simmons like useless in crucial times. Morey doesn't have that Masai killer instinct to put his team over the top, always looking for trades he obliterates.
This should be the writing on the wall for that teams prospects going forward. This was their perfect chance, I have zero doubt in playoffs Lowry would've been highly effective for them because he was coasting during the reg season.

Trust the process.
This one hurts more than the Toronto loss despite the last second shot in that instance.

Also try to convince me we still lose with a healthy Danny Green. Korkmaz is trash and stupid fans love him for his one or two good games a season and Thybulle isn’t quite there with his 3 yet to be a 3-and-D guy. Thybulle is a rich mans Andre Roberson in that he can at least do something on the offensive end.

Honestly, while I won't brush it off the top, I think that comes with a caveat. We don't know what it would of cost. He made $30mil, so it likely started with Harris+1sts, or Green+1sts+TPE. Rumor was that Toronto was just asking anyone for just way too much.
And I don't even know how much I'm into bringing him in this offseason in a S&T because it means needing to do a minimum 3 year deal, and while he's aging well, I don't know if he should have a contract paying him more than $10mil a year when he's 38 years old. If he wants to sign somewhere else for more on a short contract then I would let him go.
EDIT: Saw your edit, and the thing that makes all of this extremely difficult is Seth Curry. He was so good and is on such a good contract. I'm not sure how you go about all of that.
If Thybulle can improve his 3 ball this offseason I think this all becomes much more possible to do:
Simmons for a wing.
Thybulle with an improved 3.
Curry+Harris for a catch and shoot 4+bench 5.
Maxey starts?

So I saw the following suggested on fanspo.com (used to be trademachine.com; the non-ESPN one):
Sixers in - CJ McCollum; Fred VanVleet; Chris Boucher
Suns in - Danny Green (S&T with a 3/$30mil)
Blazers in - Ben Simmons; 2021 Round 1 (Sixers)
Raps in - Jevon Carter; Matisse Thybulle; Tyrese Maxey; Jalen Smith; 2023 Round 1 (Sixers)
Now take out Fred VanVleet, Maxey, 2023 Round 1 (Sixers) from this deal, and I would be down for it. Then spin off Harris and Curry from this deal into something else.
