PHI’s big issue is that they’re capped out on Simmons and Harris as their #2 and #3. I like Ben and he’s a great talent overall but he’s just too inept at scoring to be in that spot. And Harris isn’t a bum or anything but he isn’t anything special and he’s a negative value contract that you’d need to attach an asset to for financial savings.

Realistically they can probably do one more shakeup that maybe you progress to over the next two seasons that makes or breaks you with keeping Embiid. I’d say they’re down to their last strike.

You need play making guards in this league. I don’t think Philly realizes how lucky they have it with Joel making it almost unneeded for them. I also don’t think they realize how deadly a play making guard that can shoot could be in screen roll with Joel. Young causes havoc with Collins and Cappella as his rollers and gets the other guys wide open 3s when they start tagging the roller.


Philly definitely would be better served increasing Thybulle role and bringing in a traditional play making guard with a jump shot.

Great game for Gallo btw. I think he missed his first 4 and they weren’t close. I’m impressed with how he turned it around on the big stage and was a major difference maker

I think if Bogdanavic can't play it may open the door for the 76ers.

Embiid, Tobi, and Curry gonna have to have huge scoring nights. Gonna need a lot of defense from Embiid, Thybulle, and Hill.

Even with all that, they're gonna need Shake, Maxey, or someone else to be an X factor to pitch in some extra points. It also wouldn't hurt if someone else steps up to add some clamps on the perimeter.

Good, I'm glad him and Doc piled on, the kid has his priorities backwards. But shoot, life of the guaranteed NBA contract.

I wonder what the odds would have been on a Milwaukee, Atlanta, Phoenix and Clippers final four before the playoffs started? If someone put any money down on that, I have to think they made a small fortune. To think we've got no Lakers, Nets, Philly or Utah in the conference finals blows my mind a little bit.

Atlanta is really the only big surprise. But after their off-season moves it was clear they were going to be good. Excellent work from their front office.

A Bucks/Clippers finals wouldn't be beyond belief. A Hawks/Suns final would be fun, though the league would hate it.
