so now you are trying to blame a coach for a PG in todays world that doesnt/hasnt and will never shoot/has 0 half court offense/cant hit fts? go... i will wait. Doc isnt the best but imagine having to game plan around a guy that runs your offense that is a center but wants to be a pg

No I am saying Doc Rivers is a very average coach and while you are going off on how Simmons sucks, which is a total overreaction, you aren’t faulting a guy that has been a choke artist despite having great talent.

I do expect a coach that has had a PG that can’t shoot before figure it out with Ben.

well yes my whole arguement around him before the season for him to be great was hitting his fts and getting his clip from 61-67 percent.... he managed to actually get worse at the one thing i thought would take him to the next level... now he is unplayable. He has regressed in every offensive area and is only getting worse.

literally all i wanted and i said it a million times was for him to hit his fts.. never cared about a 3 point shot or a mid range game... just wanted him to hit 67 plus pct from the line. You will never win anything with a pg who has 0 offensive game and cant hit 50 percent of his fts.

lets play the what if game... what if we choose butler over brown and got a new coach that season.. what coach would we have gotten? After that lets say we traded ben for CJ/Levine/AD/kyrie or whatever else was out there... Lets just go with CJ or Kyrie

Thybulle and Simmons gives you guys solid perimeter d but kinda bad spacing but I think defending the perimeter and not letting these guys get off to a hot start in front of the home crowd will be important.

Definitely. And, I've mentioned this before, yea Thybulle isn't known as a great shooter, he takes enough 3's (he's shooting them 45% this series) that you can't just leave him out there. But most importantly to me he moves A LOT; and that puts so much pressure on defenses because you can't just sleep on him. When he's on the court tonight, watch him on offense, and you'll see he sneaks in and out a lot. There were a few times last game where Trae was spinning around trying to find him.

Raja Bell said he you played him 38 mins right now he might get killed but people wouldn’t guard him and he definitely would get up more then 4 shots and make more then Ben.

Let’s see if his approach changes after catching this much hell. That’s what I think will be telling. Not if he or Sixer play better but if he approach the game as something he “should be” impacting on O
