Thats the thing, the 6ers arsenal and majority of their offense comes from their front court. Their wing players are spot up shooters or catch and shoot players. Their pg isn't offensive minded. In order to exploit that match up they would need to have the Hawks switch on every procession until Trae gets matched with Embiid or Harris. And of course the Hawks are doing their best on every possession to avoid that. Or if Ben tries to take it to the hole and maximize on that size advantage they'll just foul him and send him to the free throw line. The Hawks simply match up well against the 6ers imo, and the refs are taking the 6ers ability away of using their size and physicality.
What youre saying works in theory, but I'm not sure the 6ers have the pieces to execute it. Their 1 is a pass first player, and their 2&3 guys cant really create. So if you get Danny Green on Trae for example, it doesnt really help because Green has 0 handles and unles he catches and shoots over Trae that miss match is not going to be very effective. Similar scenario with Curry. Simmons is getting the hack a shaq treatment so he cant really take advantage of any mismatch really. That leaves the front court players, but more often than not Capela or Collins provide help d, even in the event that Trae does get matched up with those guys.
