    Pacers Higher Rick Carlisle

Per Woj, Rick is returning to the Pacers after a 13 year absence.

They opened up the bag too 4 years $29 million.

I'd say there's some unfinished business after the malice at the Palace incident.

So like I said before, the mans getting paid, 4 years $29 million. After 13 years returning to Indy.

Solid higher by them, when prioritizing expierence.

Man, if Carlisle took another job that quickly, that tells you something's going on in Dallas. I thought he would take a step back from coaching for a while, if not retire completely. But if he was that anxious to get back into coaching again, clearly it wasn't the job that was the issue, it was the franchise.

Good for Carlisle and the Pacers, though. I hope he can get them back to the top of the East again. Dude is a phenomenal coach.

    1- Great hire for Indy.
2- this is not a good look at all for Dallas.

So how long before SAS blasts the Pacers for hiring a white coach?

This was a great hire for the Pacers. They have a pretty decent core with Brogdon/Sabonis/Levert/Warren/Turner. I think Carlisle will have this pacer team looking pretty strong next season. They lucked out, because no one would have thought Carlisle was even available 3 weeks ago. To get a coach of that caliber is a blessing for them. Especially considering what happened with the last coach who was a huge disappointment.

It sucks that, that team got dismantled. Before that fiasco I really loved the make up of that Pacers team.

It reminds me a lot of how the Morey situation played out last year with Houston and Philly. What's funny is I actually think Morey was the GM of Houston for 13 years, too.
