NBA Playoffs Series Thread (4) Clippers vs (5) Mavericks

This one is spicy. Did I use that right?

Clippers in 5 or 6. If KP can play like that go to scorer he should be and not kill the Mavs on D they are super dangerous. I just think the injuries have robbed him too much and he isn’t that second star

    Clippers in 6

Mavs match up well but Clippers have mind control over them. I'm leaning Clippers but would be cool to see the Mavs advance.

It wouldn't shock me if the Clippers go out first round to the Mavs but I say Clippers in 6 (4-2)

That's what I chose. People hate a lot on George because of his last 2-3 years, but he and Kawhi are both elite options to alternate on Doncic. Then it comes down to how many points Porzingis can pour in, and where the Mavs can hide him on defense — maybe on Serge or Morris. This'll be a battle, but I think the Clippers are too well-equiped to mess up Doncic, who Dallas is too dependent on.

With the Mavs having 3 times as many fans in attendance I think home court will play a huge factor. Mavs in 6.

Dallas killed it from 3 today. Even understanding that, the Clippers still feel like a disappointment. Long series to go yes but the disappointment goes beyond just today, into last year and this season thus far they hasn't felt outstanding.

Playoff P certainly much more relevant late than Kawhi today

NBA Playoffs Series Thread (4) Clippers vs (5) Mavericks

4 points for Marcus Morris senior today. Idk this Clipper team just doesn’t seem to click. I feel they might have similar issues to Boston. 2 excellent scoring wings that dominate the ball but aren’t great play makers. Idk we’ll see if they can make it work.

Clips wilted under pressure. Stopped playing defense late. Kwahi missed some big shots. It never felt like him and George gell very well.

great win by the mavs. I feel like they can't possibly rely on 47 vs 27% 3pt shooting though. Clips only had 5 turnovers. all mavs starters were huge positives and the bench were all huge negatives. something to keep an eye on.

Maybe, just maybe it would’ve been wiser to not dodge us and face us when we’re most vulnerable. Go Mavs!
