    Fan Capacity

The Mavs announced today that they will be allowing near full fan capacity in their arena for the playoffs. Just curious but are all teams doing this? What exactly are the other playoff teams doing when it comes to fan capacity? If some teams are still not allowing fans or not allowing even half capacity teams like the Mavs could have a huge home court advantage.

    Probably a per state/county basis.

I know NHL teams had full capacity in some arenas.

The Knicks will have 15,000 with vexed and un vexed sections. No idea what ever one else is doing

So thatís at least 3 teams that will have a lot of fans for the games (Mavs, Jazz, and Knicks). Iíd like to hear what teams like the Clippers, Bucks, Lakers, and Heat are going to do. If only 1 team in a series is allowing several thousand fans it could give them a HUGE home court advantage.

Outside of the Mavs figure, this article does a good job breaking down series by series.

Thanks! Based on that article it says the Mavs have been cleared for 9,000 fans which is not accurate though. The Mavs have actually been cleared for over 15,000 fans. Is the 5,000-7,000 accurate for the Clippers? That sounds like it would swing the home court advantage heavily in the Mavs favor.

I guess the Nets allegedly sold out the arena.

That should give them a huge advantage if the team they are playing doesnít have a full arena.

Lol I think LA teams have like 6000 fans, definitely not home court advantage...

Had to discount tickets to get it done. Meanwhile I called for Sixers tickets and thereís a waiting list.
