    He was originally picked up as a late game defensive replacement and a back up for andujar. I donít think cashman saw a great hitter in him when he traded for him . His great hitting has been an unexpected great bonus for the Yankees . I give credit to whatever hitting coach or coaches helped him become the hitter he currently is
