If I am the Lakers, I would settle for the play-in. If you lose to the Warriors, 2nd chance vs Spurs or Grizzlies. Easier route = #8 assuming Clippers stay in that same bracket. Playing the Clips in the first round is going to be difficult for the Lakers considering they still lack chemistry. The last thing the Lakers need right now is rest. LeBron+AD need runs in.

I get the possibility of the Warriors firing on all cylinders and beating the Lakers being risky but do any of you think the Lakers loses that one?

Let's say they do, do they now lose to the Grizz and Spurs? Doubtful. Refs will do everything they can do to make it favorable for the Lakers not because it is rigged or anything but because some bias will come into play as they always do.

Lakers losing those two games vs the Mavs and then losing vs Portland was a huge hit for them.

Not a LeBron guy. Lakers just have a lot at stake here so it's more of a discussion-worthy topic. I'll excuse myself, though.

Kellan Olson:*The Lakers are listing Anthony Davis and LeBron James as questionable for tomorrowís game against the Pacers. Same with Alex Caruso and Dennis Schroder. Indiana will have no Brogdon, Turner, Lamb or Sumner. LeVert, Sabonis and Aaron Holiday are questionable.

Iím sure Lakers will beat both pacers/pelicans

Itís possible Lakers-Clippers doesnít happen until WCF

But it depends what happens with the Nuggets @ Blazers game on Sunday

    If Nuggets win

    3. Nuggets
    4. Clippers

    6. Lakers
    7. Blazers

    6. Blazers
    7. Lakers

Either way, the Lakers are gonna face the Nuggets (granted as the 7th seed they win the play in tourney or just flat out as the 6th seed) in the first round.
