LOL no he didn't. Trump has a long history of calling voter fraud whenever his candidate lost or was losing. He's done it many many times. It was clear he was gonna do that again. He even said he would call fraud if he lost.

It's amazing that the Trumpers who call democrats sheep, are the actual sheep and he is their shepherd. Amazing how they believe everything that comes out of his lying *** mouth. The only reason people think it was rigged, is because he said so.

Decades from now, they will be talking about the two pandemics. Coronavirus and TDS. The former hit us all, the latter the republican party.

I'm so torn on what to do here. Just to clearly state my opinion. I think Netanyahu is an *******. I'm not under the facade that the Palestinians are angels but I know that Americans are hypocritical if they expect submission from people that are being eradicated from their homeland. But are options are to be righteous or be smart. So let's get some things clear....

    1. The chance for a dual state came and went 10 years ago.

    2. The Israel media is already painting the situation as bidens fault for being soft on Iran.

    3. Thid country is basically split into 1/4 on the side of Palestine. 1/4 on the side of Israel. The rest could give 2 ****s.

    4. I hear a lot of calls for removing military aid from Israel. This will change almost nothing and play right into the Israel rhetoric of Biden being anti Israel.

    5. This is a political poison pill that Biden can't fix. And in fact he can make it worse. If Israel is attacked start the anti Semitic Biden propaganda and kiss any major reform goodbye.

    6. Israel wants nothing more than to avoid diplomacy and push a Bidem loves terrorism narrative. Get a GOP president to bomb Iran. Israel is basically America if Trump was president for 20 years. There's a real hatred amd racist thought process there.

Biden is doing what he should. Ignoring this conflict. Again he can't solve this. It will only hurt the Dems politically. Amnd cause another war. And if we want to stay out of these wars we need to make Israel pursue diplomacy. Which Iran with lifted sanctions will push for Palestinian liberation.

I agree with everyone who can't stand Netanyahu. But we can't fix this.

We can try to middle ground peace. But Israel (and Saudi Arabia) want to turn Iran into the next US bomb target.

And lol at Republicans who throw fits about masks but judge people who can't vote or hold office.

Israel has never wanted peace. They want to evict Palestinians from their homeland.

You're misinterpreting what I wrote. Effective tax rate = rate they pay after deductions and credits. For the extremely wealthy, the marginal tax rate brackets is not as relevant because they would be on the highest tier anyways. This is where the deductions and credits come to play. Imagine if the tax rate is 90% but you were allowed to deduct a % of a home that you purchased as depreciation. Let's say your home is $1 million but they allowed you to deduct 10% of that every year for the next ten years... That's $100,000 deduction in income. The nominal income numbers went through crazy inflation so I don't know how much those figures are in today's money but do you really think anyone that wealthy to be in a position of being taxed 91% would willingly be taxed at 91% (which is the rate that if you're wealthy, is pretty much the rate you're going to be subjected to?). Income tax brackets make more sense for the middle-class or semi-higher class. If you're making $50 million like let's say LeBron, only $500,000 is taxed below the 37% federal rate. $49.5 million is taxed at 37%. This is what I meant by it being less meaningful when you're making boatloads of money.

Funny enough, tax revenue as a % of GDP has been relatively 16-20% the past seven centuries. The issue isn't about not even tax revenue. The larger issue is the absurd spending that has gotten out of control and then that being scapegoated as the wealthy not paying enough. Sure, let's tax the wealthy more. But let's also watch how we're spending the money. You can't ask for more money and let fraud and waste blow right by you. Fix the fraud/waste and then make your claim as to why these programs (which are VETTED and work) should be funded.
    7 centuries? Lol.

    What spending should we cut?

Having a consistent tax rate doesn't mean we have a good tax rate.

The wealthy agree they dontvpay enough... seems like the wrong forum to be discussing this but you are massively wrong on a lot of this.

You look at tax rates from the perspective of an upper middle class person. Not from a business. It's very obvious when you look at deductions. Amd how you explain the ETR.

I'd love to discuss these things one topic at a time if you'd like to start a thread.

OceanSpray may want you to FaceTime him. Apparently, if you're not up to the task it makes you some sort of low intelligence coward.

Okbsincecyou want to play in vague BS then pull out this crap.

    1. No economist looks at ETR to GDP as a guide to where we should be. It's a useless point. Especially over 7 centuries? Stats without context are meaningless.

    2. You're not educated on this topic. When econ majors debate this I shut the **** up. I know very well when I'm out of my depth. So please save your condescending tone. High IQ doesn't mean anything paired with laziness.

    3. Now I'm trying to be nice. And a good boy. So please I had VERY simple requests.

    A. Where do you want to cut spending?

    B. Do you have anymore genius suggestions like fix fraud/waste? Should we add solve world hunger and end racism to your genius deduction? WE FUGURED IT OUT GUYS. WE END FRAUD. Checkmate socialists.

    C. There I go being an ******* again. If you wantvti discuss this let's do it. But neither of us are experts and you aren't exactly giving groundbreaking suggestions.

    PS You sound like Kanye.

You couldn't come up with "end fraud". It takes a masters in econ to figure that out.

Wanna know how to end starvation?....
