Texas Rangers @ San Francisco Giants - May 10-11

    .........................

TEXAS RANGERS (18-18) @ SAN FRANCISCO GIANTS (20-14)

    ORACLE PARK

    Game 1: Monday, May 10th @ 6:45 PM

    VS.
    Kyle Gibson..........Alex Wood

    Scouting Report:
Rangers: The Rangers' ace enters the matchup in San Francisco looking to get back into the win column after taking a no-decision in his last start against the Twins. He hasn't allowed more than three runs in an outing since an out-of-character Opening Day start.

Giants: Wood gave up two runs over five innings in his last start against the Rockies at Coors Field on Tuesday. He is 1-0 with a 0.64 ERA in two career starts against the Rangers.

    Game 2: Tuesday, May 11th @ 12:45 PM

    VS.
    Jordan Lyles..........Logan Webb

    Scouting Report:
Rangers: Lyles has had an up-and-down start to the 2021 season and has given up at least three runs in all but one of his starts. He's limited his walks to just two in each of his last two outings, but he'll need to work to get deeper into games in order to conserve the Rangers' bullpen.

Giants: Webb was tagged for six runs over 3 2/3 innings in his last start against the Rockies on Wednesday at Coors Field. He faced Texas for the first time in 2020, when he allowed two runs (one earned) over 3 2/3 innings.

Good win, great start from Wood. Giants SP is tough.

Hopefully Webb can rebound from his last start.

Seems like Lyles is the Rangers' version of Webb. Gets you around 5 innings and has issues with command. He's allowed a HR in each game and 9 total on the season in seven starts. Could be a high scoring game.

I hope being home will settle Webb down today. Hitting homers now but they need more guys on base.

Left side tightness. They think it's mild.
