Lol is saw it, that had to be one of the worst slides i've ever seen. When i saw that slide, my first thought was he had to have broken his kneck or torn something but after he got up and was ok, it was hilarious. Gotta teach the kid to slide, we don't need him pulling a Torres and tearing something on a bad slide

heres a video of it https://twitter.com/i/status/1415829826598965250

Dear sir ,,,with all due respect our major league ball players donít even know how to run the bases.
Maybe we could do like they do in hockey when guys go to a strength skating coach? Cause clearly if weíre counting on our organization to get this right heíll wind up with two left feet

Lol , excellent point. On a more serious note, the Yanks better get some coaches that can teach base running. I know they are teaching their kids to be much more aggressive stealing bases which is reflected in the SB numbers from their specs this yr but if they can't slide, their going to get hurt

Seems that the person has a decent group of players but the order is a bit odd. The farm system is really shaping up considering Otto, Pereira, Smith, and Vargas didn't even make that top 15 list.

Thought after Volpe's slow start in high-A he might need some time to adjust...nope, 4-5 tonight with 2 doubles. Josh Breaux is crushing the ball after a really slow start. 1.269 OPS in July for him so far. Donny Sands hit a homer in his AAA debut and went 3-5. Anyone got a report in what his defense is like behind the plate? I know when he converted to catcher a few years ago that he was an interesting prospect. He seemed to have fallen off the map a bit but is having a really good season.
