I saw a tweet on BR that both lambert and Burger were pulled from the game in Charlotte last night.
I was Twitter banned so I couldn't do any further research.
I would hope that they don't both go in a deal for a rental but who knows.
    -I'd like Rodriguez from Pittsburgh
-KC has a couple of nice relief pitchers + Merrifield that would be nice additions
-Cubs for Kimbrel + ... Bryant would be an amazing add.

Lambert I could care less about. If Burger and Lambert get us Story, worth it in my opinion. You need to take risks.

Dodgers getting Danny Duffy and cash from Royals for PTBNL. Even though he is hurt right now, I sure would not have minded DuffyÖespecially for that price.

Curious what Scherzer and Rizzo will cost. Seems like most players are going cheap so far. Wish the Sox could have aimed a little higher, based on the returns so far.

    Cesar OBP:
    .307 vs R
    .308 vs L

Solid pickup, however he should not be batting near the top of our lineup.

Is he really at all better than Leury?

I think it was a massive over pay however we do have him for next year too

Does that mean we nab a SS in the off season and move that person to 2b?

We get an elite reliever for 2 playoff runs. I think we will be fine. I look at this like Madrigal for 2 years of Kimbrel. I don't care for Heuer. He might develop into a great reliever. He might stay inconsistent. We are trying to win right now though. We have a 2B with more tools in Cesar and a way better reliever for the next 2 years in Kimbrel. I bet we could have given them less, but they just didn't love Madrigal.

Our Bullpen is going to be great now.

Hendriks and Kimbrel are interchangeable in the 9th. There just never be a game where we are short a closer from here on out. Add in Kopech and his multi inning role. Tepera has .78 WHIP. That's elite this year. Bummer and Crochet can focus more on getting out lefties now. Both have had their ups and downs, but are still solid Relievers. I'd guess Burr and Ruiz

    Hendriks
    Kimbrel
    Kopech
    Bummer
    Tepera
    Crochet
    Burr
    Ruiz

I'm guessing that's our 8. Maybe Reynaldo takes 1 of those last 2 spots as an inning eater/spot starter. Any way we look at it, we gave up Madrigal, Heuer, Pilkington, and Horn, while adding 2 late inning relievers, 1 elite and for 1.5 years, and a 2B who does more then Madrigal for 1.5 years. We got Eloy back, and Robert and Grandal are just about ready. We are a complete team for the 1st time this season. How long it lasts, hopefully all year, but on paper we got a hell of a lot better. I'm happy. We only lost 1 guy I gave a damn about.

Our 2B is Cesar next year. They will pick up his 6 million option so long as he doesn't completely suck.

Do we really have enough offense to win a WS?

Feels like we didnít move the pieces we could afford to move, like Burger, Lopez, and other OF specs. Would have liked an impact bat, like Schwarber, or Gallo.

    How about we sign Semien?
